Terms of Service

1. Agreement and Scope

By accessing or using this website or submitting one of its public forms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or its forms.

These Terms do not govern future customer orders, restaurant agreements, driver activation, employment, contractor relationships, or delivery transactions. Those activities require their own applicable terms or written agreements before they begin.

2. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful personal purposes and legitimate business inquiries. You may not use it for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, malicious code, credential abuse, impersonation, fraudulent submissions, disruptive scraping, security bypasses, misuse of forms or private portals, interference with site operation, or unauthorized collection of personal data.

You must provide accurate information when submitting a form. Skagit Dash may restrict access or decline a submission when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, safety, lawful operation, or prevention of abuse.

3. Launch Updates, Driver Interest, and Other Forms

The Launch Updates form is an optional marketing signup. Consent is separate, may be withdrawn using the unsubscribe method provided, and is not required to use other website features.

The Driver Interest form begins an inquiry only. It is not a job offer, employment agreement, driver approval, assignment, schedule, earnings promise, or guarantee of delivery opportunities. A driver-interest submission will not be added to general marketing without separate clear consent.

Skagit Dash may send a direct response or a message reasonably necessary to administer an inquiry you initiated.

4. Founding Community Campaign

Skagit Dash is preparing a Founding Community campaign with a $20,000 goal. The current campaign page is a private, payment-free review experience and cannot accept contributions.

If the campaign opens, the campaign page, these Terms, the Supporter Benefit Terms, the Founding Community Refund Policy, and the Privacy Policy available before payment will govern that contribution.

Campaign payments would be one-time support for building and launching Skagit Dash. They are not investments, loans, securities, ownership purchases, employment arrangements, or charitable donations represented as tax deductible.

5. Campaign Goal and Allocation

The approved $20,000 campaign allocation is:

• $5,000 — technology completion and testing;
• $3,500 — launch equipment and testing supplies;
• $3,500 — business readiness and launch reserves;
• $2,500 — restaurant and driver onboarding;
• $1,500 — customer support and local outreach;
• $1,000 — rural route and service-area planning;
• $500 — Community Table planning; and
• $2,500 — payment costs and responsible contingency.

The categories total $20,000. They are operating allocations, not separate escrow accounts. Material changes made after contributions open will be explained through campaign updates. Reaching a milestone does not guarantee a launch date, service area, restaurant count, driver opportunity, delivery volume, Community Table meal count, or business result.

6. Supporter Benefits

Benefits are thank-you benefits governed by the Supporter Benefit Terms. They may include campaign updates, optional recognition, early launch information, and one future delivery-credit balance at qualifying levels. Credits do not stack and activate only after eligible customer operations begin and the credit system is tested and approved.

Benefits do not create equity, ownership, repayment, interest, profit participation, revenue share, voting rights, employment, partnership, franchise rights, guaranteed service, or other investment or commercial rights.

7. Public Recognition and Marketing

Recognition is private by default and optional at every benefit level. A supporter may choose public recognition, opt out before publication, or later request removal. Format, placement, timing, duration, and continued display are not guaranteed.

General promotional or marketing email is separate, optional, and unchecked by default. Declining marketing does not affect contribution or benefit eligibility.

8. Campaign Refunds

Campaign refund eligibility is governed by the Founding Community Refund Policy available before payment. A full refund, reversal, or chargeback cancels related supporter benefits, recognition eligibility, and unused delivery credits. A partial refund reduces eligibility to the level supported by the retained verified amount.

These campaign refund rules do not govern future restaurant orders, delivery charges, restaurant agreements, driver relationships, or other future transactions.

9. Community Table

Community Table is a planned Skagit Dash giveback initiative, not a charity and not a guaranteed immediate campaign benefit. The campaign allocation is for planning only and does not promise a specific number of funded meals or a launch date.

10. Intellectual Property

The Skagit Dash name, logos, website content, written materials, graphics, photography, page designs, code, forms, workflows, documentation, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the public website for ordinary personal use but may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit protected materials without permission.

Skagit Dash does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, software, or other third-party intellectual property.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared. Private recognition remains the default. Exact contribution amounts, payment references, email addresses, credit values, and private supporter messages will not be displayed publicly without specific permission or a legal requirement.

12. Website Availability

The website and pre-launch information are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned features may be delayed, changed, or canceled. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

13. Changes to These Terms

Skagit Dash may update these Terms as the website and campaign develop. The current version will show a revised “Last Updated” date, and material changes will receive reasonable notice where appropriate.

The campaign policies displayed before a contribution govern that contribution. A later change will not retroactively reduce a supporter’s stated delivery-credit value or refund rights without consent unless a different result is required by law.

14. Washington Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be waived. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a jury-trial waiver, an abbreviated limitation period, or an out-of-state venue.
