Our website or service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time of access, approximate geographic region, error logs, and website performance data.

This information is generally used for security, troubleshooting, analytics, and website improvement.

4. Cookies and Analytics

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential website functions, remembering preferences, security, performance, analytics, and form functionality.

Your browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some website features may not work correctly afterward. If Google Analytics or a similar analytics service is active, technical usage information may be processed by that provider according to its own privacy practices.

6. Customer and Delivery Information

Future customer orders may require a customer name, phone number, email address, pickup information, delivery address, delivery instructions, order details, order history, and customer service communications.

Some information may be shared with participating restaurants, assigned drivers, dispatch technology providers, and other service providers only as reasonably necessary to complete or support a delivery. This description is future-facing and does not mean online ordering is currently available.

7. Driver Applications

Prospective drivers may provide a name, contact information, availability, work history, vehicle information, driver’s license and automobile insurance information, delivery experience, references, and other application-related information.

If implemented, background-check information may eventually be collected or processed by a qualified third-party provider. This policy does not state that background checks are currently performed.

Skagit Dash may use this business information to evaluate, establish, and manage a delivery partnership.

9. Communications

Skagit Dash may communicate through email, telephone, website forms, future SMS or text messaging, launch updates, and service-related notices.

Marketing emails should include an unsubscribe method when required. Service-related or transactional communications may still be sent when necessary. Any future text messaging will depend on an appropriate consent process; this policy does not itself create SMS consent.

10. Payment Processing

Future payment transactions may be handled through third-party payment processors. Skagit Dash does not intend to store complete payment-card details directly on its website.

Payment processors maintain their own privacy and security practices. No specific processor is represented here as currently active.

11. Third-Party Services

Skagit Dash may use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, contact forms, mapping, analytics, payment processing, dispatch and delivery management, cloud storage, security, and customer support.

Depending on which integrations are active, these may include Namecheap EasyWP, Google Maps or other Google services, Forminator, SMTP or email-delivery providers, Tookan or another dispatch provider, and payment processors. These third parties have their own privacy policies and practices.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, business records, customer support, security, dispute resolution, and legal or accounting obligations.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the business need.

13. Data Security

Skagit Dash uses reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. Depending on the system, these measures may include SSL encryption, secure hosting, WordPress and plugin updates, restricted administrative access, password protection, backups, and security monitoring.

No website, electronic system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

14. Your Privacy Choices

You may contact Skagit Dash to request access to certain personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of certain information, a copy of information you provided, or an opt-out from non-essential marketing communications.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some information may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, or operational reasons. These choices do not promise rights beyond those required by law or reasonably offered by Skagit Dash.

15. Children’s Privacy

The website and services are not directed to children under 13, and Skagit Dash does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.
