Skagit Dash Is Now Welcoming Founding Restaurant Partners

Skagit Dash is officially preparing for its first local delivery partnerships in Mount Vernon and Burlington.

Since introducing Skagit Dash to the community, I’ve been working quickly behind the scenes to prepare the website, restaurant delivery portal, pricing structure, driver plans, and operational systems needed for launch.

I’m excited to announce that Skagit Dash is now ready to begin connecting with local restaurants interested in becoming founding partners.

Skagit Dash was created with a simple goal: to build a delivery service that works better for the local businesses, drivers, and customers who make Skagit County feel like home.

Rather than operating like a giant national delivery company, Skagit Dash is being built locally, carefully, and with real relationships at the center of the business.

What Is a Founding Restaurant Partner?

Founding restaurant partners will be among the first local businesses to help introduce Skagit Dash to the community.

The initial launch will be intentionally small, allowing Skagit Dash to provide hands-on service, gather feedback, test the delivery process, and make improvements before expanding.

Founding partners will have the opportunity to work directly with Skagit Dash during the early launch period and help shape how the service grows.

Built for Local Restaurants

Many independent restaurants want to offer delivery but may not have the staffing, technology, or resources to manage their own drivers.

Skagit Dash is designed to help bridge that gap.

Approved restaurant partners will have access to a dedicated online delivery portal where they can request a Skagit Dash driver, provide order information, and submit the customer’s delivery details.

Skagit Dash will then coordinate the delivery through its local driver network.

Restaurants will continue preparing and selling their own food as usual. Skagit Dash will focus on the delivery side of the experience.

Clear and Predictable Pricing

Skagit Dash is being built around clear delivery zones rather than unpredictable surge pricing or constantly changing fees.

The goal is to create a system that is straightforward for restaurants, understandable for customers, and fair to the drivers completing the deliveries.

Restaurants will be billed only for qualifying completed deliveries according to their partnership agreement.

There will be no surprise marketplace commissions quietly taking a large percentage of every food order.

Why Partner With Skagit Dash?

Skagit Dash gives local restaurants another way to offer delivery without handing over their entire customer relationship to a national delivery marketplace.

The service is being designed to provide:

  • A locally owned delivery option
  • Direct communication with Skagit Dash
  • A simple restaurant delivery-request portal
  • Clear delivery-zone pricing
  • Hands-on support during the launch
  • Delivery availability without hiring an in-house driver
  • A service focused on Mount Vernon and Burlington during the first launch phase

Skagit Dash is not trying to become everything to everyone overnight.

The mission is to start locally, deliver reliably, and grow carefully.

Who Should Reach Out?

Skagit Dash would love to hear from independent restaurants, cafés, bakeries, food trucks, and other local food businesses that:

  • Already receive takeout orders
  • Have customers asking about delivery
  • Want delivery support without managing their own drivers
  • Value local partnerships and community-based service
  • Are interested in participating in a controlled soft launch

The first group of restaurant partners will be limited so each business receives the attention and support it deserves.

Let’s Build Something Local Together

Skagit Dash began with a local idea: create a delivery service that supports local restaurants, creates flexible earning opportunities for drivers, and gives customers another way to support businesses in their own community.

Now, that idea is getting closer to the road.

Local restaurant owners interested in learning more can visit the Skagit Dash Restaurant Partners page and submit a partnership inquiry.

Thank you to everyone who has followed, shared, encouraged, and supported Skagit Dash since the announcement. Every share, message, and conversation is helping this local business move closer to launch.

Local delivery. Local partnerships. Built for Skagit County.
